Consolidating eID brokers at a regulated challenger bank

Context

Lunar is a Nordic challenger bank, where electronic identity is how customers prove who they are and a regulated part of the service. Over time the bank had come to depend on more than one eID broker, which spread the integration and the compliance work across several relationships rather than one.

What I did

I set up the project to consolidate Lunar’s eID brokers, defining the outcome it needed to reach and the path to get there. Because identity sits inside the bank’s regulatory obligations, I ran the work to keep compliance continuous through the change rather than treating it as a checkpoint at the end.

Outcome

Lunar had a defined project to bring its electronic-identity brokers onto a consolidated footing, set up to reduce the spread of integration and compliance work while staying inside the bank’s regulatory obligations throughout.
